The affliction of last Monday’s underground train accident in Valencia has touched the hearts of Greek people who value your compatriots as a most friendly and amiable nation. Distance cannot help averting deep sympathy, especially when our peoples feel so close in terms of culture and worship of the true God.
To Him we direct our prayers, the Lord of life and death, to strengthen the survivors and restore them to health, redeem the souls of the unfortunate victims and give comfort to the relatives of the passed ones.
Joining Your country’s mourning we besecch the Redeemer for heavenly consolation and ask Your Excellency to deliver our condolences to your friendly nation.
